yanson is a dreamer NPC who can be found in happy town in the toy kingdom. it appears outside the town's shop. it seems to forget many things due to its extreme amnesia, such as its house keys. it also seems to speak in a frantic and exaggerated manner, usin' all caps 'nd addin' exclamation marks (!) as if it were shouting. it usually tries to soften its tone, however, it seems to make certain thin's difficult for it, such as readin' or payin' attention to the town itself. 'fter defeating rockwell in the neutral/pacifist route, it will say that it is happy that they defeated the king, usin' the same style of speech when congratulatin' the party. In later chapters, it will be recruited as another NPC in funky town, havin' a trouble with its home, as it still doesn't seem to have obtained the keys to enter it, 'nd it seems that it no longer remembers whether the party defeated rockwell or if it was the folk itself. in chapter 4, it finally gets the keys to its house, which were in its pockets. it will allow the party to enter its house, as lon' as they don't invite strangers into its home. in the anomalous route, it appears to be the only NPC left in happy town. when the party dialoguin' to it, it will say that it doesn't know why everyone left, wonderin' if they were preparin' a party for its upcomin' birthday. it will also be recruited in funky town, as in the neutral/pacifist route. this is 'cause it doesn't know why happy town was evacuated, 'nd it doesn't know the reason. it is a dreamer with a reptilian appearance, pale yellow in colour, with an elongated body and dark lines. its head has several spikes along with other dark-coloured markings. it has a rather happy 'nd carefree face, pointed legs, and a short tail with the same colour as the lines on its body. It's a dreamification/imitation of a sock puppet stored in the unused toy room of middle's sunday school.
