Large Piece Commission Prices
These prices are for large pieces. Each piece will be done on a 9" x 12" piece of fine quality paper that is suitable for the medium (examples are acid free heavy weight drawing paper and bristol board). Full background pieces of any medium will have a 1/2" margin around the piece so that if it commissioner were to have the piece matted and framed, very little of the image would need to be covered with the mat.
If the "title" of the option states "background" in it, that means that the price includes a background. If you don't want a background, let me know and we can talk about that if the option isn't already covered.

If you are interested in other options not listed such as mixed media, a different size of paper, sketches, inked lineart, etc., note me. In fact, if there are any questions or concerns period, note me!
If you are wondering how prices are determined, the answer is figuring in the cost of the materials and the time it will likely take to finish a piece. I'm not sloppy, and I'm not going to rush through anything. It's more important to me that I "hand" you a work that shows attention to craftsmanship than hand you something that was cheap and effective. That being said, I'll do my best to offer something affordable as long as it is within reason. An example would be that if you can't afford a full sized illustration, then we could talk about making the background smaller or simpler. If you like the look of prismacolor pencil but can't afford a full sized illustration done in prismacolor pencils, we can look into doing the background in marker or watercolor. Point is as long as you're reasonable, so am I.

First of all, it's 'you're'. Learn to fucking spell. You might look like less of a moron when trying to argue a point.
Secondly, saying colored pencils drag Wielder's art down is one of the most baseless comments I've ever seen. What- someone stab your mama with a colored pencil once? Jesus- what kind of no-life can you have to troll over colored pencils? Butthurt much because people called out your rude comments?

WTF is up with the rude-ass comment? No one asked for your opinion on colored pencils. The tools are only as useless as the person using them. So perhaps you just lack what it takes to produce quality art with colored pencils.
Many, many artists including Wielder create very beautiful works of art in colored pencil that look far better than any Photoshop Bucket Fill. Some people prefer the soft, textured look of pencils and that's why they choose to commission her for that medium specifically. Prismacolor pencils are expensive, tend to break a lot, and lay down slower than marker or digital or paint, so that is why Wielder charges more for those pieces. Her time and effort are worth it.

I beg to differ. This medium can collaborate itself with just about any water based paint, ball pen, eye shadow, graphite, charcoal, coffee, and anything else it's pliable to, no medium-whether chalk or digital art-is "inferior".
If any medium is inferior, its those who fail to TRY and complain about it.

You know, that's quite a statement coming from a guy who posts fairly crappy graphite and smudgy watercolor Lion King porn and insists on "no unsolicited critique". What, you can dish it out, but you can't take the heat in return? Just because YOU don't know how to use colored pencils properly doesn't mean everyone else suffers from your failings. Nice butthurt journal when your ass-tastic commentary here earned you a block. If you wanted to initiate a conversation about a particular media, there was a polite way and time and place to do so. Instead, you failed, and then tried to defend your failing. Rant all you like where your little buddies can soothe your ego, but that was a dumbshit move that didn't earn you any points with anyone.
Here's a clue: When you're expressing your opinion about something, especially when it has the potential to be controversial, don't phrase it as though you were stating fact. While it's something we've all been guilty of, you had chances to redeem yourself, and again, you blew it. It's painfully clear to anyone who looks that you don't understand what you're talking about. It's also clear you have no intention of changing your stance or apologizing, so I'll quite happily follow a good example and block you too. Maybe you'll learn to be less of a jerk some day, but I highly doubt it.

Oh C'mon Zannah, he's a superior artist! He produces smut, that makes him special. Thoughtful and tasteful art that actually tells a story and demonstrates talent on the part of the artist is so passe!
Why would you want to waste your time looking at nice pieces when the furry world is so full of images of creatures with freakishly huge genitals blowing their loads into their room mates asses??
God I'm so sick of it all.... Good post

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY
Seriously though, one day I'll have PayPal and then throw all my monies at you for pretty pretty art. I just can't stop ogglin' at your Prang/Derwent pieces though, uhhgg so pretty. Teach me the secrets of the colored pencil, because that shit eludes me! When I try coloring, my pictures always turn out like I just vomited crayons all over unfashionably. rofl

Colored pencils are a pain sometimes. I love the way they turn out, but there's just so much layering and time involved.
Well, I HAVE done this before, and maybe I should have put it on the the pricelist, but if someone overseas wants to commission me but doesn't have a paypal or what have you, we could do a goods for a service type thing where the commissioner purchases a product for me and ships it to me instead.
