This piece, perhaps appropriately, has gone through quite the metamorphosis.

Initially intended to be an exercise in non-photorealistic rendering (NPR), that met with no success and instead ended up as a realistic style render. The composition is meant to echo the layouts found in comics; rather than being an exact representation of the scene, as a photograph, it instead shows different aspects of the character, in this instance his human and werewolf form.

I also planned to do the compositing as postwork, but found I could just as well achieve the look I wanted with a few of Jepe's packs. In the end, the only postwork I did was to add a frame and the text box.

Also, I think this is the first piece I've submitted here on FA that's 100% my own work. Yay.
