updated re-explanation from Entry 8 of this bc i tweaked a few things.
Marayj was attempting to create a self-cloning spell, because that's useful.
Homie fucked it up. Poof - a Child™. Marayj is not thrilled about being a parent, so he calls his friend with children (Rayman), and asks for help but without saying what he actually did because a fuck-up this bad is kinda embarrassing. Rayman ofc comes over to help because he's a good friend, and is understandably startled at the sight of Child™. and Marayj just kinda hands the baby thingy off to be his problem instead.
Rayman brings the child home to his partners, who are also startled at sight of a child, who is at the very least now in their care if not actually now their's. They name him Tohyin.
Tohyin ends up particularly attached to his dad Rayman, and wants to be just like him - a beloved hero of the people. Tohyin achieves this by wearing his dad's old clothes and using his name, due to how similar he looks to him. Unrelated but at some point he gets lost and picked up by a random circus [insert tl;dr of R:TAS here] but eventually gets found and brought home by Rayman. Tohyin continues to pull stunts like this into adulthood. This is why in CLH:BDR he's known as Rayman - just kept doing the same stupid things he always did because it's never quite gotten him into that much trouble. How’d he end up in America/Eden in the first place? Later me’s problem thats how.

I changed Ramon's colours again, and gave Marayj (changed the spelling) CLH!Rayman's colours. so Aileirtsa!Ramon is still darker overall than he is canonically but idc i like it better this way.
