I'm going to apologize in advance for being a little silly, and chatting a lot.
Legend of Mana is one of my childhood games I grew up with. I can recall far too many nights playing the game with an old CRT tv up in the corner of the room with only one audio channel working on the TV so my music experience of the game was skewed until later in my life. I also recall looking up on a laptop all the technical stuff I could to get more out of the game given that Legend of Mana can be quite complex in certain things without holding your hand to it.
I remember many times in my youth I would beat the game, but always wonder who the heck Larc and Sierra were considering that I never bothered to figure out how to do the Lamplight quest, which rewarded an Artifact necessary to begin the Dragoon Arc of the game. Since discovering it, it became my favorite section of the game full stop (with The Flames being a minor exception, I can never remember how the traps work).
For this drawing I used her design in the remastered Legend of Mana's art gallery as the guide for how her armor and colors are.
Sierra herself I find quite fascinating on a character outfit design standpoint, her dragon skull backwards helmet just works so well. I'm sorry for drawing her front facing, Sierra tends to look better in a side profile but I wanted to practice a front facing muzzle on drawing.
I recently got the remastered game on remembering that it came out some years ago on the Switch and I had a drive to show it to some friends who haven't seen the game. The remastered music downright brings tears to my eyes at times. Sierra's theme being one of those beautiful pieces.
If you haven't had the chance to, I highly recommend Legend of Mana, either it's original form or the remaster (though I will pitch for the remaster as it contains remade music and the original, as well as better translations which make some dialogues noticeably better delivered).
