Okay, so, short answer, I've been moving. Not, "Oh hey I'm moving another city over," sort of moving. No, full house of 2 stories, with over 35 YEARS of stuff over 400miles the short route, sort of moving. I'm in a new state now. Away from... a lot of things that were weighing on me. But, there isn't a bright rainbow at the end of this trip.
I'm still leaning on my dad and sis for funds, which hurts. (Shameless plug that I do 3d art work, hit me up if you wanna see about anything. I can't do requests right now due to actually needing money... which I hate.) My PC is 70% set up, but while I now have a 3rd screen, WOOT, I don't have my old mouse (have a new one that is nice but it isn't the vert mouse I was wanting so meh), my mic, my large drawing pad, and my Stream Deck. (Not steam deck, I have that thing around still.)
So, I'm set up, sort have been for a week. But without my mic I can't do many, if any, YouTube content (if you don't know I have one of them channels that plays games and yaps a lot without showing my face). I'm looking into getting a better long term chair... and I have no bed. I have a weird tent/cot thing that I'm using with basically a cheap yoga mat as a sleeping cushion.
So, a few questions I can think up right now without waiting for you all, the ones who are still around, to ask.
Q: So what now?
A: I don't know. I'm trying to get into making rigs for models, making models, and I have a creepy new character in the works as well as getting into chopshop models. I have a HUGE project I'm hoping to make before I die, so... all things lead to that.
Q: What's that road GIF?
A: Heh, so that I made because where I currently live is so out in the boons, that I have to drive an hour to any city with things I might need. So, one thing I was looking into making is that effect that happens when the road's hump is just right to make a mirror. Blender doesn't naturally do this so I have been testing that, but also, there is an addon that allows me to, straight from blender, make a GIF or WEBP file. Which will expand a lot I can do here on FA.
Q: Are you well?
A: No. Flat answer. My back has been in a growing amount of pain, more so do to not sleeping right. Hoping to fix that with a better longer term sleeping options, but for now that sucks. BUT I am getting into having my old work timeframe. As in "work" for 2 hours, 15 min break, 2 more hours, 1 hour lunch, 2 more hours, 15 min break, then 2 more hours. After that, its a free day and I can do whatever. Is it perfect? No but it allows me to do streches and work on myself. Finding out that I can't even do 10 sit ups or push ups hurts my limited pride. So, gonna work on that.
Q: Will you be making more art without being paid to?
A: Yes, but not requests. At least not ones from people I don't personally know. I have a ton of models, and I want to see them so I can make chopshop versions of my characters, but also, just get my skills used. SOOO, I'm going to see if I can't make a picture a week at least.
Q: Will you still be making written stories?
A: Yes, but I don't really know where I'll go with that. I do take commissions for stories but I need a lot of input on what someone wants, and what their cap is.
Q: What's your prices?
A: I'll be working on an updated pricing guide shortly over the next few days. So, after that, I'll have that answer.
Q: Why not make a journal entry about all this and link it?
A: Um... only really thought of that now as I type this out, but firstly I just wanted people to see it. I know the journals around FA, at least for me, turned into sort of white noise.

If youre financially struggling, Im not sure constantly paying electricity for a second (let alone third) monitor would be wise. Did you have to do some triage and get rid of a lot? On the topic of situps, it helps a LOT to have something keeping your feet down. Like a weight of sort. You'll feel the difference, I promise you. Without it, it makes the exercise much more brutal than it needs to be.
