This is canon - and it's not a wedding.
After the two new couples (Blade/Marij, Taiyo/Kurisu) had both announced their relationship to the rest of the band, Taiyo suggested going out on a double-date (and, of course, Taiyo's the type who'd want to go to some extremely expensive place, where it's very formal).
Kurisu and Blade, of course, both had to be convinced (of going anywhere together); but Taiyo managed it. He actually had Blade convinced when he insisted Marij'd enjoy it (it was a safe bet that she would)... and the clincher was when Taiyo said he'd pick up the tab (Blade: "Well, if we're talking free food... okay then.").
Kurisu pretty much had to be incessantly pestered, with cute puppy eyes, until she gave in - and her stipulation was that Blade behave himself and not embarass her. (Remember, Kurisu and Blade thoroughly detest each other.)
Anyway, so, Blade surprised Marij -and Kurisu ("Wow, it discovered what a bath was for!")- by the fact that he not only owns a suit (uh, tux? It looks like..), but even knows how to tie a tie - although he did have to compromise by picking a shirt style that had something gothic/victorean, hence the sleeves. And since it's a tux, that includes gloves.
This sparticular scene is after she's just seen him dressed up for the first time - Marij think's he looks damn fine and he's sort of... hoping it's a compliment that's going to come (and is actually a little uncertain)... and probably hoping he'll get a chance to take a peak at some point.
- Notes -
-Aside from having had this idea in my head for months now, I do blame this on Disney - specifically "Beauty and the Beast". I damn near put Marij in Belle's famous yellow dress.
-I dunno what else to say about her dress - just that I wish I had done both of the sleeves in the same way, because this looks.. erm... not so good.
-His tux is supposed to have tails, I just couldn't figure out how to draw them at the time (I couldn't visualise it, for some reason) - will add them later. Next time, I'll just have to actually use a reference for the tux, 'cause I hardly know what I'm doing.
-She's probably too short here... I think?
-This is blue because it was actually 'inked' with a blue ball pen - 'cause I don't have my good sketching stuff with me.
Blade and Marijke belong to me.

Hee, cool.
Granted, you're right, a comic would be absolutely appropriate - moreso than a 'fanfic' or something of the sort. I did dabble a bit with it - done some comic panels for a couple little plots - and I actually have kinda wanted to do more, but have such a time with comics.
So far, all I've written for it is Blade and Axel's childhood.

Why, thank you again! It's kind of a sappy story. What I needed to decide is where in the timeline to start it. But was thinking, primarily after Musicpsycho's formed and famous and Marij is joining. Otherwise, only having short stuff from other parts of the character's lives to establish... whatever. But, for example, I don't want to write in detail about Blade's slavery and only hear about it through Blade's retelling.
As said, I've written a little bit of Blade and Axel's childhood - not too in-depth, but to establish what they lost and give an idea of what shaped Blade. Should I send that to you?
For Taiyo, the prologue scene from his pre-band life that I want to write, is the conception of his son (not saying I want to write porn, but the scene in general, showing how he and Kurisu meet, etc..).

That's what I might do. I've decided to start the story (fic-wise) with Marijke meeting the rest of the group, as Taiyo's girlfriend - and the explanations of how she and Taiyo got together is handled by them retelling. I would send you this as well, after I've got the first chapter/thing done. But, shall send you the current prologue for Blade and Axel - it's written in a weird way and is not how the rest of the story will actually be written (as it jumps through a few specific and seperate events). Anyway, how should I send it?
Re: Border colours
Sometimes, but not always. Either it pertains to one of the character's associated colours (like red for Blade, for example), or it goes with the mood of the image (or I just threw something I don't often use that doesn't pull from the image); or I use neutral colours to not pull from the image (here was supposed to be neutral, but formal - granted, I've no clue if my monitor is properly adjusted). Full-coloured images usually will have a black or white border, so as not to distract from the image. And this is just something I'm doing with Musicpsycho (as sort of a weird trademark). Non-related things don't get this type of border (may get a border, especially in full coloured images, but usually not and not in the exact same style as Musicpsycho).
