In her life, Arissa had lived lazily, finding that flying was useless. No flying prey was juicy enough to fly after, and she never felt a need to leave home, so she would always walk if she needed to hunt or just stroll around. This decision quickly backfired though when she found herself in a brawl with another dragon, getting overpowered quickly when the other would attack from the sky. She lost and found herself in the guts of the other dragon as humiliation before being spat out, warned if she lost again she wouldn't be getting out. To prepare, she decided to train, starting with learning flight. With her first test flight, Arissa found herself a cliff's edge to jump off of in hopes to trigger herself into flight. Looking for a cliff to test her flight, she told herself she had this. Finding one and climbing up to the top, she told herself instinct would take over and she would fly before she hit the ground. Finally looking over the cliff though, her stomach dropped. She'll try another day.

A little sketch I made! Been meaning to study on how to draw cause I haven't liked my art too much being self taught. Had to take a break for a bit but I went back to studying and what I learned output into this! Probably won't make a ref for this OC anytime soon btw as unlike Kip and Castro, I just thought of her today. I'll probably make a mini series of her though as practice.
