This was the first proper artwork of my fursona Feder. It feels like her first spark.
After a conversation with a friend, I found myself thinking about her more deeply and realized that this character had probably already been on my mind for a long time, just somewhere beneath the surface. Once that clicked, it felt like she only needed to be drawn.
This piece became the first real step in bringing her to life. Compared to my newer artwork, the shading here is simpler.
