Challenger W.I.P
~Will Scrap~
Dunno how many of you remember the challenger I drew years ago as a sketch (I forgot to upload it to this account FFFFFFFFFFFFFF-) http://d.facdn.net/art/maybell/1211.....challenger.png
Decided to bring it into Photoshop and hack it out with my tablet and try to improve on it.
Log way to go still it looks like.

'70s are nice... me? I actually rather prefer the '71 body style. Oh yes... and I like the Vanishing Point reference on your other picture via the license plate.
Nice work with this though. You've certainly got a neat perspective on it and certainly made it look like it was supposed to. I.e. I knew what it was without having to guess or read. Certainly no easy task to accomplish.

71's are pretty nice, a lot more sleek rather than buff n' wide, but I've always had a thing for 70's since I saw the original Vanishing point, and I was out of my mind ecstatic when the Dodge in Driver San Francisco was a 70's 440.
That was a sneaky reference wasn't it? lol
Thanks very much it's nice to know there are people out there with a good eye for detail like that ^_^
Out of curiosity do you prefer the 426 Hemi or the 440 Six Pack? I've never been able to decide between the two myself though I hear the 440 is more user friendly on the road and the track.

Yea, the one in the new driver game is a '70. I have my reasons for preferring the '71s. First off... they're a lot neater looking in my opinion, and secondly, they're not over-done to death. You hardly see them, the '70 being used ALL over. (GT5, Forza 3, Driver: San Fransisco, NFS: Hot Pursuit, etc. etc.)
And yea... of course, I'm a huge car chase movie freak, recently going through all of them and to some extent, still working out the final bugs for my top ten greatest car chase movies of all time. (I've got the top ten... just trying to work out the finer details of what gets placed where)
As far as engines go... I prefer the 383. They actually came with an option of like 7-8 different engines... but I've always been partial to the small block 360 or the 383.
