Here's the withered king of the underground: Asgore
DevourTale synopsis: An alt timeline where another human (it's not going to be Frisk) falls into Mt. Ebot, But instead of the monsters trying to kill you to get your soul.....they will try to eat you. A food crisis has swept across the underground and the monsters resorted to eating anything or anyone they could get their hands on.... and humans happen to be their favorite meal.....
Backstory: Asgore tried everything he could to help his people during the crisis but knew that he couldn't really do anything on his own. in the aftermath of the crisis, Asgore mostly isolates himself in his throne room and rarely comes out.
he spends most of his time thinking that everything leading to this was his fault. from ruining his marriage, letting his daughter die, putting in the false belief that it takes 7 souls to break the barrier (which is almost impossible now, due to monsters eating every human that falls to the underground), and making the decision to make scientists redesign The Core to be powered by crops/livestock to save more power when it was starting to faulter.
With Asgore, i thought that he should look like he's been through a lot. all the stress making some of his hair start to grey.
