A mockup of an idea that I thought would be silly for my mockup I've been working on (mockup-ception!) Since Veil's a kid, certain keywords will have strong effects on him. The keyword that was used in this scene is "treat", which was said by the master planner of this mystery in a taunting manner. Note that Veil was at first serious in the previous frames, but after hearing the keyword, it caused him to act rather playful and excited! This next part wasn't drawn, but I wanted to have him quickly snack back to reality and return to being serious after his excitement wore off. I also wanted to have his tail wagging during the frame where he acknowledged the keyword but ultimately forgot. But hey? That's what mockups are for! But yeah, honestly happy with how this turned out! Nothing so far is set in stone, only a lot of ideas like this one.
