fun fact: Felix is quite literally based off the F-14D currently at Pearl Harbor museum. That aircraft is what got me into aviation as a whole a couple years ago because it really caught my eye while there (when things were finally opening up a little after lockdown, so the museum was completely empty. Funny enough, that's the first time I CAUGHT covid was during that trip LOL) had such a silly backstory- 102 was supposed to be on the Tomcat's final flight but had an engine failure (classic) LMAO so 107 took its place instead.
I can post one of my real irl Felix pics, but he's definitely not as colorful haha. But as the internet says, to be loved is to be seen
