Since I've started attending MFF, I've tried to make a badge that was themed to the con's theme that year. It's been pretty easy for me so far. Pirates, Birthday, Jazz, they all had really easy themes for me to work with.

However, this year's theme of "Route 66" really threw me for a loop. The simplest answers that came to mind were all relating to cars. I cannot draw a decent car to save my life. So I really didn't want to draw a bunch of cartoony cars on a badge cause it just wasn't me. XD

The other day it hit me. When I go on a long road trip, the one thing I buy is Postcards. Do I use them? Nope. But I LOVE gathering them up when I'm on vacation. So I figured why not have a postcard themed badge! ^^

Here's going to be my badge for this year. Clemi in a nice relaxing comfortable outfit posing on the side of the road for a nice pic. I have no idea where she's at, but personally I love the scenery! ^^

Also the back of the badge is on the bottom and it shows the style I'm gonna use for future commissions of these. The "Wish you were here!" will probably be standard, unless someone requests it to be changed. The stamp will also be the same as well. ^^

Chances are I'll start taking on commissions for these next month, but if all goes well I may get my queue down faster and I'll be able to open for them sooner. ^^
