A tap at the window, it’s 3:46 am, and it’s raining hard.
Your mind starts up again slowly, like an old car in need of a boost. You sit up and survey your room, pondering if you truly heard a noise, or if it was just a dream.
Until you hear it again, a slight tap against your window. It could just be the rain, or perhaps some sort of debris flying against the window from the tempestuous gale outside.
You stand up and slowly trudge over to the window to check, just to ease your mind. You pull the curtain open with a tired yank, only to met with the face of your past regrets, that which you harbor deep down inside, something you won’t ever let into your self.
“Why won’t you let me in?” It says, tapping his bloodied and cut fingers against the window, it’s cold lightless eyes staring into yours. Past regrets, trauma, and mistakes meet you face to face, outside your window.
Question is: will you let it in?
