commissioned comics are pretty rare for me, and this one also had a somewhat unusual concept with a motivational message directed at the reader, so it was really interesting to work on this one-page piece. August joined the process along the way, since the phrases and script needed some adjustments. that’s how it turned into a collaborative work~
in a way, it also helped us better understand how to work together as a writer–artist duo for comics. after all, different formats always require their own specific approach.
