Hiya Dexter!-30 Years Of Dexter’s Laboratory

I noticed that other artists have been drawing 30th anniversary pictures for Dexter’s Laboratory, so I thought I would go ahead and draw one too.😁
Dexter’s Laboratory was one of my favorite Cartoon Network shows growing up. It came out when I was five years old. Actually, the pilot episode for it came out in 1995 when I was four, but the first season wasn’t released until 1996.
Anyway, I found out that Dee Dee was originally supposed to be the main character, even though her name didn’t end up in the title. She was created and drawn first before Dexter. This was my first time drawing her. She was very fun to draw, she had such a wacky character design.😆 I have drawn Dexter before, but it has been a long time since then.

I remember all the way back in the late 90s when Cats Don't Dance hit VHS. The tape promoted "three new toons," for Cartoon Network's lineup, including Dexter's Laboratory, and it even included one episode of the show. Man, I miss those days.
