Shrunk in Cosmo's Fingerprint Ridges - Closer Look (Micro)
A double-post for today's alternate TransforMAYtion prompt, Hands!
("Alternate prompt", I hear you say? TL;DR I'm not feeling many of the official prompts, this artist wasn't either, and they posted this FurAffinity journal with an alternate prompt list. I might follow it more!)
My alien frog scientist OC Cosmo loooves afflicting me with all manner of bodily changes, since she focuses on transformation experiments & I was the first Earthling she encountered. Today, she's decided I don't need to be nearly as tall as usual, and shrunk me down to size!
Shortly after the last post, Cosmo decided I was indeed not small enough for her liking. For the data she wanted today, I'd have to be shrunk even more... She gave me a playful squeeze in her fist, pressed some buttons on her alien computer, and I promptly felt myself reducing even further! I went from being able to lean back on her fingers without issue, to being barely shorter than her finger length, to being shorter than her thumb...
And yet, she still wasn't done! She gently pinched me with her other hand, lifted me up, and set me down so I was straddling her index fingertip. A little more beeping later, the shrinky tingles commenced again, and smaller I went... I witnessed Cosmo become even more impossibly large from my perspective, as I went down, down, down... until finally, something obscured my view of her just as I stopped shrinking.
The unexpected obstacle looked like a big gray wall, and I noticed a similar one behind me. They were both about 3 times my height, but sloped enough that I could reasonably climb them. I turned to face the one behind me, crawled up along it, and reached the top without too much effort. Upon turning around... there she was. Cosmo's face utterly towered over me, looming what felt like miles away from me. She didn't even need to speak, leaving it to me to identify just what she had done to me. Casting my gaze around for several seconds, I realized the true extent of what had been done to me. Cosmo had made me small enough to fit between her own fingerprint ridges, which were so small previously that I didn't even know she HAD them! As if knowing I began to worry about getting lost at this helpless size, Cosmo leaned inward to get a better look at me. Her eye looked nearly skyscraper-sized to me... I stared up and sheepishly waved at it, before feeling what was effectively an earthquake beneath me. She backed off and started moving toward her lab, watching to ensure I wasn't shaken out from her ridges. As we passed through the automatic metal doors to her testing area, I struggled to fathom just what kinds of trials I could be tasked with at this truly-powerless size... I've gotta hand it to Cosmo, though. She's always been a master at giving me new experiences, and becoming the smallest I've ever been was no exception!
