A battle rages on outside the wagon, magic being cast and punches being thrown. Inside the wagon, 6 young children cower behind the flaps. The only adult with them, Kali-tu, is tied with his arms at his side, laying on his back as flat as he can. As he thinks about how things led up to this point, the flaps of the wagon fly open, showing the mask of Ravello, the changeling and adopted father of the children. Even though his face isn't visible, the seriousness behind the mask is evident, and even more so in his voice.
"Are you serious about proving yourself, traitor?" The bird speaks with as much seriousness.
"With my life." Ravello unties him in a hurry, causing Kali to sit up, grab his bow, and kneel on the back ledge of the wagon. His wings spread wide, shielding the children from the violence.

Drogar, the little orc toddler, is trying to sneak a look. After pushing him back a few times, he gives up and lets the orc watch. "OH MY GODS A FLYING HEAD THAT'S SO COOL!!"



Our sessions are great. The bard adopted a bunch of kids, and I got tied up with a rope. Can I put a shameless plug here?
