I picked up Fox's story Alchemancer (preview it here!) and found that even after I read it to the end I couldn't put it down! Hence the art. One of the main characters is Leo Parsons, a snep detective wracked with guilt who develops an addiction to Necrum sticks (sort of like cigarettes). At least that's what a casual observer might say. The more you get to know him, the more you realize he's addicted to his own torment...
