So, I decided to make a story based in the pokemon world, and it's probably gonna be really long. ( …or at least, I hope it will be… ) Anyway, point is I'm making more stories, yay!, and sometime in the pokemon saga (the only reason furries aren't in it is because I assumed that they would sometimes get pokeballs thrown at them because they can be mistaken for pokemon! XD ) , there could be yiff, there could not be, maybe later in the series, read to find out if you want.
(Part 1 will feature Xin Tetsu beginning on his journey with his faithful companion.)
Anyway, for those who will continue reading, please enjoy Pokemon Saga, Part 1.
It was about midnight in the quiet town of New Bark Town. Xin Tetsu was filling in for Professor Elm while he was away, showing his new theory to Professor Oak in Pallet Town. He had been behind on his studies of pokemon lately, his main study was on ghost and dark type pokemon, and why they act the way they do. But filling in for Professor Elm was not helping his studies.
Xin's faithful partner, Maggie, a Mismagius, was making him coffee using her psychic attack to pour the coffee and add three teaspoons of sugar, and a bit of creamer as she stirred the coffee gently with the teaspoon. After a few more times of stirring the coffee, Maggie set the spoon down on a paper towel, then picked up the coffee gently, bringing it to Xin.
"Thank you for the coffee Maggie." Xin said as Maggie set the coffee down next to him on the desk.
"You're Welcome, Xin." Maggie said back, with all of the time he spent with maggie, he had taught her how to speak english, to help him understand her.
Xin was quite fond of Maggie as he never bothered to capture any other pokemon, except for an eevee that he never used until night time, as he wanted to have an umbreon to help his studies of dark type pokemon. Xin decided it was a good time to take a break, he stood from his chair and began to stretch his limbs. Xin then took off his lab coat, drooping it over his chair, afterward, he released a yawn.
"Tired already, Xin?" Maggie asked. "You usually stay up longer than this without yawning."
"What time is it Maggie?" Xin began to rub his eyes.
"About Midnight." Maggie replied.
"I guess I should train that eevee I caught, I hope it turns into an umbreon soon so I can get further in my research…" Xin said drowsily.
"You can go to sleep if you want Xin. Going to bed early for once may help you study tomorrow, you shouldn’t study for professor Elm and yourself at the same time." Maggie said to him, as she flew in front of him.
"I don't like doing elm's research anyway. I can lock up the lab and leave whenever I want." Xin said back. "If professor Elm wanted this research done so bad he could do it himself."
Maggie sighed as Xin walked through her, she then turned around and began to follow him, bringing his lab coat with her. After locking up, Xin slipped his lab coat back on.
"Ready for our journey, Maggie?" Xin said as he smiled at Maggie.
"Yes Xin, I believe I am, are you?" Maggie asked back to Xin.
"Yeah, when were done, we'll know all there is to know about Ghost and Dark type pokemon." Xin said as he began to walk west
"Where is our first destination Xin?" Maggie asked as she floated steadily next to Xin.
"Violet City, I hear theres ghost pokemon in the sprout tower, and I wanna see them!" Xin said, with a smirk creeping across his face.
"Good choice Xin." Maggie said as they began to leave the boundaries of NewBark Town.
"Maggie, our journey began as of a minute ago, and the next day of our journey will be traveling which made me realize something…" Xin said as he stopped in his tracks.
"Yes Xin?" Maggie said as she turned around to face Xin.
"That means the next day of our journey is going to be boring unless we run into some interesting pokemon!" Xin yelled, he then took a moment to think, he then released a sigh. "oh well… not like the entire journey was going to be fun…" Xin said as he began to walk again.
"Well, at least I just got entertained by your realization, Xin." Maggie stated as she began to float next to Xin again.
"Oh well, at least I can train this eevee along the way." Xin said as he released a sigh.
"If you find any interesting pokemon that is, right Xin?" Maggie asked.
"Not many pokemon around here will be too interesting Maggie, its mostly hoothoot at night." Xin said, then released a sigh. "Oh well, i guess that poor little eevee is stuck training on hoothoot..."
After a while of walking, Xin found a hoothoot standing a few feet away from a tree, staring at him. Xin found this to be the perfect opportunity to try to evolve his eevee.
"C'mon Eevee! You can take on the hoothoot!" Xin said as he threw one of his black and orange panted pokeballs, that contained the eevee inside.
"Tackle the hoothoot, eevee!" Xin said as he pointed to the hoothoot.
Xin's eevee began to run at the hoothoot, who soon began to flap it's wings and hoot loudly. Soon after Xin began to hear hoothoots all around him, followed by red eyes appearing in the trees around him. He quickly returned the eevee to it's pokeball.
"Maggie…" Xin said as he looked at the eyes appearing around him.
"Yes Xin?" Maggie asked
"Did I ever tell you how much I hate Route 29?..." Xin said as he cautiously took a step backwards.
