Our beloved hummingbird friend, Aro, has managed to get himself all banged and bruised yet again. This time he said it happened while lending a friend a hand and refuses to say much more besides what sounds like self-criticisms about who to trust and where to draw the line.
Needless to say, after a few days in the hospital, Aro has begun making a full recovery and the doctor feels it'll be safe for him to fly away in only a few more days. Soon, he'll be in the expert care of his loving girlfriend, Goatella, and hanging with her son who loves him oh-so much, Sotelo.
Well, Sotelo's feelings may be a bit of a stretch. But, here, it would seem Yosh and Winry have decided to pop by the hospital and lend Aro a helping hand down to a little celebration in honor of making it through yet another rough spot. He doesn't seem all that amused, but I'm sure he'll perk up once he realizes Goatella is coming by for a special evening past vistor's hours. Though, Yosh and Winry don't know that and are just happy to cheer up their klutzy, birdy buddy.

Yay! You may not want to mention that time with Goatella as I know that'd upset him greatly. However, I am most certain he'll gladly feel better about the "accident" knowing you cared enough to bring him chocolates and are willing to let everything slide and offer even more tasty treats in the future. A friendship could be started in this way. :)
Started that way. Then, evolved into a dinosaur with a duck beak. :) The yoshi characteristics are there, but the body and head are different. Also, Yosh has three curved head-spikes as opposed to a yoshies typical four that just stick out like triangles. :)
It's been quite fun following your adventures with Nishi's crew. Of all of Nishi's characters, Aro is my favorite as, in some ways, we relate. My eye keeps me in-and-out of doctors and hospitals more than I'd like. Though, like Aro, I never give up and do have someone close to me. ;)
As you did such a mighty commission from our favorite Ham-Ham, I must say you REALLY like his characters. Is there a favorite you have? I have worked with Nishi on projects and do delight in writing all sorts of works with regard to them. Most of my gallery is actually inspired by his amazing creativity and inspiration.
