TRANSCRIPT

Day 579 - May 6th, 2742

After a couple days bouncing around abandoned streets, with Pathfinder's guidance, we found a reinforced fence with a hole used by smugglers and stepped through. And sure enough not far off the main road did we find the Colonial, and the old man at the keep.

We asked for the Seaside Remedy, and he gave us a couple innocent looking drinks, but at the bottom of my cup was a note, telling us to meet him in a couple hours at the back of the bar, near the exit door. In the meantime, it requested us to stick around and order some food and drink to not raise suspicion of us loitering around, and he will reimburse us later.

He was true to his word, but even still me and Lily didn't go crazy. We had a good meal, a couple drinks, and just watched on as the busy bar went on through the night.

A few scuffles here and there, one of which the old barkeep had to step in and laid out both drunken bastards on the floor. And they were not small either.

I guess when you live under an occupation like this, you tend to have a lot of bottled up emotions ready to burst out. And for the barkeep, you gotta know how to put up with a crowd like that.

Anyways, we met as instructed and he led us to a small hatch in the back of the bar, inside was a small bunker mostly just for one person, but it had plenty supplies.

But what was most impressive, was that there was a tunnel through one of the walls that led to STEEL's underground network.

Yeah there's got to be some shady shit going on here, but as long as this old guy helps us, I ain't saying anything.
