This is a picture I took sometime last year, I believe. Just rediscovered it.

It may be difficult to tell, but this is a graveyard. McMurray Cemetary to be exact, just outside the tiny town of Lake Mcmurray, Washington.

The cemetary is overgrown and largely forgotten, mainly because no one knows who owns the land that the graveyard sits on, and therefor no one takes care of it.

It's a bit sad to think about, that a community would just up and forget about their graveyard. Many of the tombstones are damaged and destroyed from a logging attempt several years back. I have several relatives buried here as well, their tombstones being some of the few left standing.
