T-Bone sniffing

This is the leader of the Extreme Dinosaurs, T-Bone the T-Rex. As to be expected, this dino's got a strong sense of smell, even if his nostrils are smaller than Bullzeye's. Best part is that he sniffs a relatively decent amount in the show, though only two instance that I can recall involve his nostrils flaring.
Though, one has to wonder, what is T-Bone smelling now? Some food? His teammates? Flowers? The Reckless Raptors? Or maybe he smells you? If that's the case, why not let him keep sniffing? He's a hero after all, so it's not like he'll eat you.
Really, he won't. There's a reason there isn't a "vore" tag on this piece of art.
