Today on album cover redraws, Zack recontextualizes their favourite Rage Against The Machine album to better fit one of their characters and make the message even more hardcore in the process.
The Battle of Vukov Klanac was a famous engagement in the Yugoslavian theater of WWII, where the Partizans put one hell of a beatdown on the Nazis and their local collaborators, and using that as a basis for the album redraw works because not only is Galina yugonostalgic and very political, her hometown isn't too far from where the battle took place.
Even the redrawn pose is a reference to another icon of Yugoslavian WWII resistance.
Honestly this came out a lot better than I was expecting, I had no idea how I was going to capture that concrete texture of the source material but this one worked out surprisingly well.
