The Wheel of the Year is the name for eight seasonal holidays, celebrated by Wiccans and many neopagans. I embroidered this as a sort of visual calendar - it's almost time to tip it a notch over to the Autumn Equinox (as symbolized by the campfire).
The relative darkness and lightness of each part of the year is reflected in the gradient background.
