This is Jasper Noah, a fan character based off of Chaz Targrin's world of the Intergalactic Truck Stop.

Jasper is an alien race known the Inquisi and he's a computer expert, his 'daytime job' is that of a tech, going around to ships and stations to fix and upgrade computer systems and anything else that he needs to work on.
In his past though, Jasper was once a hacker. It originally started off as just a 'hobby'; going under the name 'Softpaw', but he realized some of the locations he found his way into were high security locations and when he realized the dangers there, he stopped and removed everything that linked him to his hacking ways.

Since he's an computer tech, he carries several computer interface items with him, mainly his gloves and the eye piece, which not only store information but can also interface with multiple computer systems and provides holographic displays and devices, like the holographic keyboard.

Inquisi are fond of loose fitting clothing and sandals so Jasper tried to be stylish, but it didn't really work out for him. Now he wears pretty simply clothing; the emblem on his vest is actually a reference to Star Trek.
Jasper had wanted to get his antenna pierced, but he didn't like finding out how painful it was, so he just opted to wear a stylish cuff on his left one.
Jasper's sandals are tech sandals that provide some useful options like anti-grave, some protection against harmful chemicals and spills, and such.

How he ends up at the truckstop in the story, well...there could be many reasons for that, heh.


I had actually wanted to work on a fan character for Chaz's world for a while now, but since that weird slump, I haven't had a chance to until now. Ironically enough I discovered that Chaz is actually holding a contest for this sort of thing, so I decided to throw Jasper in for the fun of it.
