Update 1.9.0 has been released, and it introduces a brand-new spider form!
Spider form is a form that features the use of "silk projectile" to modify terrain and contain enemies, and has a special "evolution" way.
(Yes, I know spiders in real life don't go through metamorphosis development… This is for gameplay reasons! )

About the mod:
Shape Shifter Curse is a Minecraft mod which focuses on gradually transforming into different forms based on vanilla creatures under the influence of the "Cursed Moon" and "Instincts" mechanics, gaining their unique abilities and drawbacks - each form with independent models and (potential) special animations
This mod is open source and free. It still in development, with more forms to be added later
