Oh boy! this was a hell of a picture to make. First off, the original size of this picture was way bigger than I thought it would have been. Namely because when I was thinking of this picture I forgot there were seven Koopalings. Second, I was at odds whether I should keep the feet designed like they are in the Mario game, but I eventually went with a different design so the toes were more distinct. And I didn't really have a background in mind for this picture, so here's a generic red background.
I had the idea for this months ago after playing The New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Very fun game, and very strange that Koopalings reappear after years of absence. I guess because child abandonment would be a really radical subject to put into a Mario game. I can't deny that the Koopalings are adorable, in their own ways.
In the Mario games, I have never liked the mini mushroom. Jumping with it is becomes low gravity and quite difficult, you can barely hurt anything, there are only a few necessary uses for it, and it does not grant you protection against attacks. This situation perfectly illustrates my problem with this mushroom. Even Wendy takes off her shoe to get more satisfaction from crushing you.
This took a long time to paint to be honest. Along with previous mentioned complications, I was trying to shade this a little more like the Mario style. A bit rushed in the end, but I am still satisfied with the result.
EDIT: Quickly added the legs their actually standing on.

you seriously have just fulfilled my greatest dream as a child!! I always loved the SNES Super Mario World's Instruction booklet as it had a lot of detailed shots of the koopalings feet and i just swooned over them. I'm even worse with bowser. its pretty much when i learned just how much i loved 3 toed scaly feet. i mean when i saw the first THE first pokemon episodes Intro where at some point it shows a charmander posing his foot down then back up .....yeah jeese i must sound weird...sorry about that but thank you for coming back to the fandom then to draw this lovely beauty!
Hehe I've always wondered if somebody would do a pic like this with the mini mushroom idea. X3 You'd think that they'd try to step on Mario in the game if he's mini-fied. :P Thank you for meeting the wasted potential by drawing this. :3 I really dig the perspective and the concept. I wonder who's gonna squish the viewer (which I presume is Mario) first. X3
Hate? I dont see any hate in this picture my friend, or you are trying to say that THIS is the way of koopalings to say they hate someone?
In that case then this particular hate from Wendy Oh' Sexy Koopa, I accept it without any complaint, what the hey? I encourage her to hate me any day/hour/minute of the week!
I love how you make her pose holding her heel as if saying:" My foot is all sweaty from wearing this tight shoe slave, cool it of with your tongue NOW, and dont stop unless I say so, and dont forget the area between the toes as well."
