The party had gone well, surprisingly well in fact. Reeta had been as welcoming as Rob could have ever hoped for and as the evening wore on, his confidence grew. He didn't shy away from busting out his goffiest attempts at dancing, Reeta even joined in on the off the wall display. She showed him how they prepared their party food, which consisted of spiced fish roasted over open flame with candied fruits for dessert while chugging down the most tropical cocktails he had ever seen, though Reeta made sure to water his down quite a lot after she had been warned what beast of carnage they would unleash if he got drunk.
After dancing in the sunset and exchanging hand made beach necklaces, Reeta led him to the shore for a walk in the dual moonlight. Throughout the party, she noticed he had been sporadically checking a piece of paper and muttering to himself. It had been intriguing her all night and after she caught him checking it again, she saw her opportunity and snatched it from his grasp.
"Gah!" Rob blurted. "No don't!"
A swift finger to his lips silenced him, Reeta smiled down at him warmly and moved her hand on top of his head. Rob wanted to continue blurting but his face was frozen in place, the jig was about to be up.
Reeta read the small note and smiled.
