This is a character I created aaaages ago when I was getting back into anthro art. Her color scheme is basically the same, but the original drawing was in pencil and a lot lighter. To cut a long story short, she was the star of an adult piece that I've recently removed from my gallery so I've given her a family-friendly makeover.
It seems she was a favorite of a very talented French artist here on FA - amiralaesir. Because he is so fond of her I gave him the task of naming le petit chien, and he came up with the charming title of "Licette". He's drawn her a couple of times looking very cute and glamorous. In this version, she appears a tad less composed as she tries to hail a cab.
Ahhh, city living. =^_^'=

Yes, it does a bit, but that's just the way things happened while I was drawing. In actual fact it was intended to be a very skimpy dress, but the lace and such does lend itself to the sleepwear look. Oh well.. she's doing that trendy Japanese thing where throwing on whatever you find is totally cool! =^0^'=
It seems clear that I live beside the wrong city, because I never see women like this, wearing clothes like these.
Then again, what kind of clothes are these? As Incaros has pointed out, the orange piece looks more like a nightie or a slip than like anything a woman might wear in the middle of the day. There could a story behind this image, an interesting one -- is she running away from someone or from something? Did she toss on whatever she could find at a moment's notice? Is there something of grave importance in the shopping bag that might have set all of these events into motion? Have I been watching too many Hitchcock films? Ah, maybe.
A final point: I find that most combinations of furry art and photographic background image never work, but this one does... perhaps because the photo is muted, grey and impressionistic enough to suggest a locale but not to draw much attention to itself; perhaps because the pale tints of brown and yellow go quite well with the colour of her clothing and fur; perhaps because a cute and half-dressed babe tends to become the most important element in any picture. I would go with number three. :)

*laughs* Well I'm sure if there is a clever plot to accompany this piece you'd be the one to conceive it.
To be honest, I think I captured a bit of myself in this picture (though obviously not through my own character). It feels like I'm never on time these days, though I was raised to believe that punctuality was of utmost importance. And I always seem to be rushing out of the house in a mess because I had no time to fix my hair or co-ordinate my outfit. The older I get the faster time flies! -_-'
As always, thank you for the thoughtful comment, Mark. =^x^=

I can see the headlines now....
"Worst multi-car pile up in history, yet drivers 'would do it all over again if they could'."
"'This has been the happiest day of my life,' says driver of crushed Subaru."
"Damages estimated at $980,000 -- but drivers would gladly pay to see young lady cross street again."
"Driver weeps at scene of pile-up: 'I've just GOTTA have her phone number!'"

She has such a sweet, innocent face, probably because her fluffy ears look like pig-tails. Even though she is very cute and sexy, I feel compelled to give her a gentle hug and help her expediantly reach her destination. She's the kind of girl that causes most guys to slide into a big brother/guardian role. Very lovely work as always!
