Guys, I can't tell you how much fun I had doing this one. I also listened to this song on repeat during the duration of the second half (digital editing).
This is a rendition of
silvergrin's wolf/demon hybrid with a metallic smile. I decided cutting out the teeth in the drawing and scanning scratched foil underneath would be a better solution than trying to do metal myself. :P
These may be on sale now, but after September 16th this style and price will no longer be available. Check this link for details.
And, finally, if you enjoy the character design, please let Silvergrin know. :)

After staring at this piece for a few minutes, in the background, work etc, I really like how you did the eyes. Especially the corner of the closest facing eye and the right eye too. Eyes in 3/4ths are kind tricky but you pulled it off well. IMO. At first I was torn on the teeth, as in I couldn't decided whether or not I liked how they turned out. But I think that overall its an effective method. The back teeth look good. The front teeth not so much.
I like the kind of abstract nature of the teeth, but perhaps what is throwing some people off is that the rest of the picture is fairly realistic?
As much as I want to play around with this kind of concept, I really haven't so I'm not sure what could balance it out. I'd guess either adding similar elements to the background or other parts of the character, or maybe to roughly draw the teeth and scan before cutting them out, scan again, and try to do some kind of overlay?
Just guesses, but I think it looks great ^-^ I'd totally commission another if I wasn't out of "fun money" for the month! Maybe sometime in the future :)
