Yeast free and yummy these spicebuns are bonny and bountiful from the kitchens of

I was bored so I decided to make some cinnamon buns. Yeast annoys me, so I made this yeast-free version, and it's quite tasty :3
DOUGH
2 Cups of flour
2 Tablespoons of sugar
4 Teaspoons of baking powder
1 Teaspoon of salt
3 Tablespoons of butter
3/4 Cups of milk
FILLING
4 Tablespoons of butter (I used five)
1 Cup of brown sugar
3 Teaspoons of cinnamon
GLAZE
1 Cup of powdered sugar
1/4 Cup of milk
I also used a bit of Vanilla extract, but this is optional.
First, in a medium bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and baking soda. Mix in the milk and butter, but soften it first or it just won't work. Mix in until it's a sticky ball of floury goodness.
For the filling, mix the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon together to form a thick paste, making sure to squish all the little lumps. NOTE: You might want to make extra, as the filling is a little light in this recipe.
Roll out the dough; make sure you use extra flour so that it doesn't stick to anything, as it will make rolling it up really difficult. Roll it into a fairly rectangular shape, able 1/4 of an inch thick. Spread the filling across the dough evenly. Make sure to leave extra space on the edges so it doesn't ooze out too much when you bake it. Roll it up, then cut it into whatever size slices you desire (I made 14 rolls and they're a really nice size :3).
Before all this, set your oven to 400 degrees X3 Line a pan with either some oil or wax paper. I personally love wax paper because you can just throw it away afterward, and your baked goods almost never stick to it.
Place your buns on the pan, spacing them evenly. Bake for 20 minutes, or 25 minutes if you prefer them a little browner. 20 minutes will leave them soft and light.
For the glaze, I find it best to just mix and match. That is, make it as thick or thin as you like. These buns are sweet without the glaze, but I personally LOVE extra sweet lol. If you make the glaze and it's a little runny for your tastes, just put it in the freezer for about 5 minutes, and it will thicken up.
When your buns are done, use a spatula and put them on a long plate, or whatever you have, it doesn't matter. Glaze each generously and VOILA! Yeast-less, delicious cinnamon buns <3
Trust me. These are amazing!
