Enchanted
When that day came, where I first met you and I saw that handsome face
I knew I was enchanted, I was star struck to see you,
And even to this day I am still spellbound to the man the face belongs to.
Oh Jackson I was so enchanted to meet you,
That first night was wonderful, every kiss and every hug felt like magic,
Each touch felt like my skin was on fire, with my heart racing so fast I was afraid it would burst out of my chest,
And now that you are not here every other touch feels like ice in comparison.
Its so cold here, its practically soulless,
A blank canvas in my eyes, waiting for the wonderful colors of your heart to fill it.
Before you,
Before I was enchanted by the wonderful colors of your eyes,
The brightness of your smile,
The wonderful tones and sounds of your voice as you said my name,
As you said “I love you”,
As you said that “I will miss you, that I will come back”.
Everything seemed so stagnant…so still,
But you made my life come alive.
That first week with you it felt like I was alive once in my life, that I had found the person that could make me feel...human.
Even now I feel like an alien in my surroundings,
With blank stares at the masses see me,
And maybe they see what I feel,
A blank shell that seems to be trudging along the streets,
But that shell may not be empty,
For I cling on the hope that I will see you again,
And that keeps me going.
I was so enchanted to meet you,
And I don’t want the spell to break.
