why do the turtles have italian names???

They're all named after famous Italian renaissance artists... I'm sure you have heard of Leonardo Di Vinci and Michaelangelo's Sistine Chapel...

Those are the artists they are named after. ^_^

Apparently Master Splinter found an art book in the sewer and got their names from that.

Agreed, though I think the original creators were just trying to make themselves giggle. ^^

You should do a webcomic or a doujinshi. This is proof positive that you've got some fasinating ideas for the turtles. Go for it.

By the way I'd have to say Leo and Don are my favs. Mikey looks just like I'd picture him and Raph....hmm...he looks alot older then the others...though that may be cause he's sneering.

It's an idea. *toys with idea* I'd have to become more consistant with my character design though it'd be something to do to practice drawing before trying anything on a professonial level... hm.

Yeah Raph needs some work. I tried to put some character into his face like a crooked nose but that totally didn't work in my favor. I'll have to do more sketches. ^_^
