This is my tenth image in a 14 image series of mine (one of the first series that is). I want to do 14 images of females, one a day for two weeks, to try and practice female form; as long as I'm doing that, I thought I might as well make reference images for each of my 12 races, as well as two other female characters.
Screw it. I'm doing 12.
This is (for once not cheating) the Wind/Air species of the Etherealm, the Kraatans. Otherwise known as boird-peples X3. Kraatans are the latest race in the history of the Etherealm to establish an empire, and for once it wasn't actually that bad. Trading was enhanced due to the use of captured trade winds, and spread over the entire Etherealm. Kraatan technology found it's way into even the most technologically incapable tribes, and wars and disagreements ground to a halt under the watchful and easily enforced eyes of the Kraatan army. With their newfound success, the Kraatans built a series of Skislands using their innate ability to manipulate and solidify cloud masses.
Problem was, being the leading race at the time, the Skull Death-Crusade quickly targeted them first, using their own giant roc cousins against them through reanimating dead carcasses of the large beasts. After the initial attack, not a single Kraatan has been seen for generations afterward, although some believe them to be in hiding.
Kraatan females' traits include smallish feet, smooth fur-like feathering, a display of feathers on the end of the tail instead of the male's spiked maces, and small wing-feathers on the elbows.
