This photo was taken outside of the New England Aquarium in Boston, MA. Outside the aquarium is a small habitat for seals which are, definitly, a VERY cute animal. This here is a female seal taking a nap on a rock in the habitat.
Since it's surrounded by glass, getting up close for pictures is a snap. The seals are very photogenic if you can get them to sit still long enough.
Oh, and how do I know it's female? Well let's just say that with the way she was laying, you could tell.

That seals name is Remona. I Only know this because i'm from Boston and Remona gae birth last year to the smallest seal in that tank, and i forget his name....
And i love that habitat because not only can you watch them above the water, but you can see them below the waterline and they love to play games against the glass with people.
