She was too lovely not to adopt.

Description from Mingchee:
She is the Arctic Guardian and appears only in the night. She guides lost travelers who have lost their way. However, if angered she will call upon a blizzard to imprison poorly-behaved explorers in a horrible snow storm for however long she sees fit. She only shows herself to those she considers worthy of her presence and have proven themselves with a noble heart. In short, she hates selfish people and she's only a a cold bitch if you give her reason to :P
