There can never be enough guitar covers of this song as it's practically made for it.
I'm using this as a sort of benchmark to judge my own progress as both a guitar player and the bit of audio engineering that goes into recording and mixing it with the original track.
(For example, I discovered amplifying the tracks when merged together solved the annoying speaker pops from peaking that wasn't a problem in either track by itself.)
I'd say this song rocks pretty hard.

Oh wow. I haven't recorded anything since March.
I sat down and tweaked with sounds for a good hour or so before settling on this: I think it goes well for chiptune covers.
The chords are full and heavy without being noise, and the lead notes have high sustain and gain, but not too trebly.
