Thought it might be really cool to do a big long strip format with characters. I hope that playing around with design rather than going for more traditional representations isn't obscenely arrogant on my part.
Some of the Egyptian gods who don't get as much "face time" in furry art; Hathor, Serqet, Meretseger, Taweret, Sebeq, Mafdet, Wepwawet, Djehuti, and Anuket.

Really like that you did this. Everyone always concentrates on the well known deities and forgets about the thousands of other deities in the Egyptian pantheon.
Whats really bad is that I was able to guess all but one before I looked at the description. Ill have to look up Mafdet cause for the life of me I cant remember that one. Or was she that Old Kingdom mongoose, or cat goddess that protected Ra during the trip through the underworld?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafdet - she was a new one on me too. I read the "human headed cat with scorpion tail braids" and immediately I thought that'd be really cool to draw.
I used to play a game called Battle of the Immortals, and after seeing a particular rare form of a monster you could breed as a pet, I had to get one and give it a particular name. :P
