Kuzo is a notorious assassin known throughout the ShinDig! world, mostly through stories and rumors, as most people don't survive an encounter with him(especially if they've got some sort of bounty on their head). He's currently in pursuit of Shell, but not because of the bounty he carries, but because of a disrespectful remark regarding Kuzo's unibrow...at least, that's what Shell says.
Kuzo is always in possession of a large beaded necklace. Not merely a fashion statement, it houses his "weapons": stray souls he's collected and sealed inside said beads. Using his powers of necromancy and small devices he calls "pegs", Kuzo is able to twist these souls into nearly any form he pleases. The metal plate on his left arm was ritualistically implanted there. It's true purpose is to cause great, constant pain in that area, so that the nerves elsewhere don't react to injury, so long as it's not greater than the pain there. Kuzo's illusion of not feeling pain, cold, emotionless expression, and imposing appearance has led many to describe him as a "monster".
