There're quite a few things wrong with this picture technically...it's just something I doodled out while trying to re-learn how to draw.
Sort of a different take on the same techniques used in my other fox sketch: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4288643
Trying to work out a look that I like to utilise for sketch commissions, since I wanna start taking those to make some money. The shading definitely won't be as detailed as this on those though...I really got carried away shading this to try to make it look decent and detract from the actual lines...

Still have that beautiful touch in my opinion. I think it's like riding a bike...you never really forget completely how to draw, but the muse being gone can affect production aLOT...I wish you the best, and I'm thrilled to see you gradually coming back and submitting your works. Your art style has always made me smile, and I'm happy to see you're doing a little better. I look forward to seeing more, and hope your muse returns.
Yay, thank you so much for the nice comment! <3 I'm really happy that you get an 'elegant' feel, cos I was absolutely aiming for that when I was working on this! Don't know if I'll ever use this technique again (at least, as detailed as I went with the shading on it) but it's encouraging that you like my experiment. :D
I think it looks amazing. I"m dreadfully out of practice myself and I dont work on FA much anymore since i've been almost completely alienated. Frankly you and one other artist are the only ones I check back here for. And i'm very glad I didnt miss your return to the art world. :3 good luck with your commissions!
