A friend of mine in work does college radio at night with his son.
His son plays hard ass metal till about 1am. Blasting hard ass shit....Then his dad comes on. Ron plays new age soft and soothing...the shit will put you asleep faster than a bullet dipped in NyQuil. When Ron has asking for a picture theme I said...."How about a bottle of sleeping pills?"
I like both styles and hope to lay that down for action.

They are big. And heavy. Maybe not as heavy as they look, but you definitely feel the weight on your arm. With a falcon, well, you've usually in control no matter what. With an eagle though... well, even on the fist there's nothing stopping him from leaning forward and biting your cheek. Not to mention that the only reason the talons aren't piercing that glove is because they have no need to. It's an experience. >_>
*smiles* beautiful eagle: not everyone can make them look that good from a full frontal view like that; I recently drew an inflatable griffon, and the head still strikes me as off .Too meaty, though it works if you think of it as a mix of avian *and* feline skull structures. Your mastery and talent with positive/negative space are shining through with both of these images.
Also, I have to wonder if you knew that it looks like the upper left lateral tooth there seems to be smiling: acci-dental or not ( sorry, terrible pun;) ) It is a nice touch: gives the skull that much more of a smart-ass attitude/feel.
In regards to non furry local work, I am reminded of a tattoo someone had me draw ages ago: A sort of optical illusion Of a gangster clown in a top hat, coming out of the wearer's unzipped skin (sporting an actual zipper, cartoon style), showing the musculature of the wearer behind the emerging clown figure. Shame he never showed up to tell me if it was close to what he was imagining or not: Never got much feedback on it online either;p ah well.
