one day on TV I accidentally saw a short footage of a bulldog with exactly the same body build as Spike had, includign the turned-in forelegs... and he ran exactly like Spike did, by stomping his crooked legs into the ground and jumping up, because he wasn't able to move them right... and I felt a jolt of pity for the poor creature.
