I mean at least for me, it seems I never notice a new banner, since FA doesn't seem to refresh the banner on its own for me, dunno who else has that problem... but anyway I don't notice a new banner unless I look at the news area and then press Ctrl+F5 to see the new banner.

I really do wonder if it is just my end or if FA can't figure out how to make pictures refresh/change on their own.

That's due to your browser cache. Ctrl+F5 clears your cache. In your browser's settings, you can usually set it to clear the cache each time you close.

Yeah but other sites I don't need to clear cache and the banner and other changed or updated things, change on their own.

Usually because they switch images out, rather than changing the image of the same filename.

The new banner showed up on its own for once. I wonder if because of all the hate of the other, they decided to force refresh it for once on its own.
