I've no idea why the uncolored version of this was labelled as Adult on ponibooru, but um AWESOME I GUESS.

I don't believe there was ever an uncolored version of this picture. There was, however, a version with a more grown-up Spike, but I (and many others) decided it looked bad because he turned out too anthro, not cartoony enough. So I just reverted it back to normal Spike.
