yeah its a 98 forester s with a 5 speed manual its my favorite car i have owned as a daily driver and they hold up well mine has 162500 miles as it sits in this pic

Oh hell yeah man, you can easily put 400K or more on these without needing anything but basic maintenance, really good cars.

TLC, and I know you know all about it :) I recently had to replace the tranny on my old car, the 90 Lincoln Mark VII, that was an expensive fix, just annoying that everything else mechanically on the car was 100%. Not every malfunction can be avoided unfortunately =/

Yeah for sure I hear ya there can always be a fluke failure sometimes
