When a double rainbow occurs, the secondary rainbow is above the primary (the lower, brighter arc), is much fainter, and the colours are inverted, so that the red stripes face each other.

acctually the colors of the rainbow ar light refracted through water and gasses in the atmosphere, even with a double rainbow, they are both still ROYGBIV
