I get asked to draw things all the time. Sometimes my hands are cooperative, and other times I might as well have paws, because they've rebelled against me, however when somebody asked me to draw something as novel as a Biowere... I couldn't resist.
Biowere belongs to user angelinashen, and a reference picture can be found here...http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5157348
In truth, the hardest part about this drawing was finding the right picture. I had two rules... It had to be menancing, and it had to look good on black... After about 30 minutes of digging... I found the right one.
Picture was accomplished by drawing on black vellum. Drawing on black is always difficult because you can't use regular pencils and such, so EVERY single line counts. I started out with a simple line drawing using a white prismacolor. I then switched to lime green, and then used various yellows. I finished the prismacolor part off with a colorless blender.
I then loaded it into Photoshop. Black always comes up despeckled when scanned, so I added a layer and used gossian blur (just a bit). After a few minutes of color maintenence, and stamp tool, to get rid of any specs that I didn't brush off before the scan, I added one last layer and then used the glow tool. It picks up the brighter colors and adds a bit of a sheen to it. This gives the impression that this beast could nuke you with one bite.
In fact it is so radioactive that I heard Iran wants to purchase it to power its country. Nothing like having a mini-nuke for a pet.
